Wafi is equipped with a daggerboard and twin rudders, enhancing its maneuverability in shallow waters with a draft of only 1.32 meters when the daggerboard is raised. Lowering the daggerboard increases the draft to 3.4 meters, while its 2.1-meter deep foil design improves its underwater performance. Wafi boasts an impressive offshore racing history in the Baltic Sea, securing two class victories at Gotland Runt, a triumph at a Swan regatta, and an exceptional five wins at the Suursaari race, the largest offshore sailing event in Finland.

The interior is a classic Nautor ́s warm and soft atmosphere with en-suite owners cabin in the bow. Wafi is the three cabin version so there is two spacious aft cabins. All sofas can be turned to sea bunks which is very convenient when racing offshore. All cabins have extra cupboards as the owner specially ordered when she was built, giving that always needed storage space. Overall Wafi has comprehensive list of extras from the yard.

Wafi has had a professional boat captain most of her lifetime. Wafi has been kept up to super yacht standards and winterization has every time been completed at warm inside yard. All standing and running rigging has been inspected every year and changed when needed by a professional rigger. All yacht systems have been serviced by recommended schedule. Wafi is in superior condition in all aspects.

Keel & Rudder

6920 Kg lead keel with retractable daggerboard

The daggerboard is operated by DC-electric hydraulic pump system and the position of the daggerboard can be read from an electrical indicator. Manual pump is set for safety. The daggerboard is possible to be remove with the main halyard in case of malfunction while yacht is in water.

Two rudder blades with JP3 water lubricated self- aligning bearings. Rubber blades can also be removed while yacht is in water.

Rigging

Wafi has painted aluminium mast and boom manufactured by Offshore Spars. The rig has two pairs of swept spreaders. Rod rigging and fittings are Navtec made, as is hydraulic backstay, outhaul and vang.
The rig has removable Kevlar inner forestay and running backstays.

All running rigging is in very good condition. Only Gleinstein and Maffioli products have been used on running rigging and sheets. All rigging has been taken apart yearly and inspected.

Sails

All sails on Wafi are from North Sails Finland. Lot of time, effort and money has been used to get a comprehensive fast, competitive and strong sail set. All sails have been inspected annually and sent to North Sails for minor repairs. Sails have been in warm and dry storage when not in use.

Wafi had her second owner 2019. Since that Wafi has done very light family cruising in Finland. Wafi has been in water maximum two months per year.
